Mariana Lozoya
Mariana is from El Paso, Texas, and grew up in the border town of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, where she earned her law degree. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Law from the University of Salamanca, Spain, where she contributed to publications on international human rights and presented her research at various conferences.
Before joining SLPC, Mariana worked as a judicial clerk in Mexico, supporting judges in criminal courts. Since relocating to the DMV area, she has developed a strong interest in becoming an attorney and aspires to build a career in human rights law. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Mariana is committed to maintaining effective communication with clients and providing dedicated support to our attorneys as the Maryland Legal Assistant.
